This project won the SILVER AXIEM™ in the Interactive Media – Sales category for the year 2001.

The user interface did a nice job of evoking a high tech machine shop feel, with its machined metal look and a convincing sliding tray servo motion for the main menu.  The following product design components, among others, contributed to the necessity for extreme care with memory management and performance optimization.

• a rather low-end minimum system spec (Pentium 200 MHz, 32 MB RAM)
• lots of 564 x 424 video on an 800 x 600 stage
• additional spokeperson videos composited onto the background
• main menu on a sliding tray that animates open and closed with ease-in/out calculated with Bezier curve equations
• some sections add a superimposed scrolling marquee with transparency effects
